- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 1 year minimum hospital pharmacist experience required; recent hospital experience required 2. Cases: Operational (reviews, verifies, dispenses medication orders; prepares sterile and hazardous medications per USP standards; manages controlled substances; completes medication histories, reconciliation, and patient education) and Clinical (performs clinical interventions, monitors therapy, provides drug information to healthcare teams and patients) 3. Certifications: Not specified 4. License: NJ State Pharmacist License required 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic charting experience required; Pyxis and carousel technology experience preferred but not required 7. Shifts/Call: Primarily day shift; some evening shift (1500-2300) based on need; every other weekend required; no on-call; holidays required (1-2 based on contract length); no floating required 8.
