- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 3 years required for submission (note: system also lists minimum 1 year; 3 years noted as primary requirement) 2. Cases: Preferred experience includes Neonates, Infants, Pediatrics, Assembly/Wrap; extensive surgical case list including general, gyn-onc, urology, ENT, eye, reconstructive/plastic, vascular, cardiothoracic, thoracic, orthopedics, spine, sports medicine, laparoscopic general and gyn cases, Neuro surgery (crani and spine) 3. Certifications: BLS and NBSTSA required; LA fire card within last 30 days required (not reimbursed) 4. License: CA RN license must be in hand at time of submission; no pending licenses accepted; no open license hits approved 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic 7. Shifts/Call: On-call plus rotation required; must work one Saturday 8-hour day shift and rotate week; float required to Providence Little Company of Mary Medical Center San Pedro; all travelers expected to float between all facilities within the state 8. RTO: Must be submitted at time of submittal; max 7 days (anything more requires client approval); must commit to working 3 of 5 holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, NYE, New Year's Day) 9. Returning Staff: Can return after 3 months; must disclose if previously worked at any Providence facility (as permanent employee, traveler, or registry/per diem), including location and dates 10. Travel/Local: Under 50 miles considered local; locals accepted at lower bill rate; bill rate is firm; can only submit to one Providence facility at a time 11. Background: Must disclose any license or background hits upfront at time of submission; no open license hits will be approved 12. Modules: Non-billable; average 16 hours; over 20 hours requires PM approval; completed pre-start and annually; self-reported and recorded in Workramp transcripts 13. Special Equipment: Preferred experience with Da Vinci Xi, Mako Robot, arthroscopic towers, bovie, suction (Berkley, Neptune), Neoprobe, BiPolar, microscope, power equipment, endomechanicals, Myosure, decontamination/sterilization knowledge; also preferred: liposuction and Aquabeam experience Critical: SSN and DOB required. Two references required covering 1 year (within the last 3 years), due during compliance process prior to start; can include Charge RNs/Leads. Neuro experience is a plus.
