- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years required for submission; first-time travelers accepted with 2 years, but if less than 2 years and first-time traveler, must be screened 2. Cases: General, Plastics, Ortho, Neuro Spine, Vascular, OB/GYN, Urology, ENT; daily average surgical case volume of 30; extensive skills list required — screen if missing required skills 3. Certifications: BLS, CST, NCCT required; copies required at submission; must be in hand 4. License: Valid CA RN License required and must be in hand; pending license not accepted 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic experience required 7. Shifts/Call: 8-hour shifts starting at 0630, 0830, or 1100; 12-hour shifts starting at 0630; separate weekend shifts; call rotation approximately 1 weekend/month and 1-2 nights/week 8. RTO: No more than 7 days; must be included at time of submission; traveler must be willing to work 2 out of 3 major holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year 9. Returning Staff: Must wait 3 months to return as traveler 10.
