Requirements
- Required certification: OR Tech - CVOR
- 1+ years of experience
- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years required; will consider 18 months working under highest level of professional license, with 1 year of recent experience in the field of specialty 2. Cases: Primary procedure is open heart surgery (CVOR); in absence of these cases, tech will participate in other specialties 3. Certifications: AHA BLS or Red Cross BLS required; NIH required 4. License: Completion of College Anatomy and Physiology I course; OR certified Central Sterile Processing Technician; OR completed Central Sterile Processing certification; OR completed a hospital-approved Surgical Tech certificate course 5. Education: High school diploma or equivalent required 6. EMR: Meditech 7. Shifts/Call: Primary shift Monday through Friday 7am to 3pm; required to participate in emergency call every third week for 7 days; holidays as required 8. RTO: Not specified 9. Returning Staff: Not specified 10. Travel/Local: Must be willing to float to units/hospitals 11. Background: Not specified 12. Modules: Not specified 13. Travel Experience: Not specified 14.
