Requirements

- 1+ years of experience
- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years required; 1 year required experience mentioned in compliance section 2. Cases: Elective and emergency surgeries for adults and pediatric patients including cardiovascular procedures 3. Certifications: BLS required 4. License: NY license required in hand to submit 5. Education: Foreign education must be verified - alert account manager at submittal 6. EMR: EPIC experience is a hard requirement 7. Shifts/Call: 4x10 0630-1700; 1 call shift per week, 1 full weekend per month 8. RTO: Cannot submit anyone with more than 10 days RTO 9. Returning Staff: 1 year return staff policy 10. Travel/Local: Must be more than 75 miles from facility; candidates within 75 miles not accepted 11. Background: Reviewed on case-by-case basis 12. Modules: Billable up to 5 hours; total may reach 10 hours; excess of 5 hours non-billable; completed pre-start; recorded via facility report 13. Travel Experience: Yes, travel experience required; first time travelers accepted 14. Scrubs: Not mentioned 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Unknown 16. Special Equipment: Will float to general procedures when not busy in CVOR Critical: Trauma Level I and II experience preferred. Multiple surgical specialties required including Da Vinci Xi, laser safety, and trauma experience. Candidates will float between units.
