- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years required 2. Cases: CVOR experience required; Pedi CVOR preferred for all pedi card cases. Congenital hearts and other cardiac surgeries. Will be expected to take care of general OR patients as well. 3. Certifications: BLS, PALS required 4. License: CA RN license must be in hand to submit. No pending or temp will be accepted. 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Not specified 7. Shifts/Call: 3x12 days 0630-1900. Call required: 1-2 weekends per month (72hrs + 8 days per month 12-24 hrs/day) depending on if traveler was scheduled to work or not. Weekend coverage every third for call. 8. RTO: Max of 10 days RTO, none within the first week of the assignment 9. Returning Staff: Must be separated for 1 year before applying to travel positions. Any clinician who is a DNR from Rady's will not be considered for CHOC. 10. Travel/Local: Locals are NOT accepted - candidates that live within 50 miles of the facility are considered locals 11.
