- 1+ years of experience
- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 5+ years total CST experience; 2+ years in cardiac & vascular; 1 year CVOR experience; 1 year in Level I Trauma facility 2. Cases: CVOR procedures (CABG, EVAR, TEVAR, valve replacement); thoracic, vascular, general OR procedures; cardiovascular/thoracic instrument reprocessing experience required 3. Certifications: BLS required 4. License: Valid compact or state license in hand at time of submission for RNs 5. Education: Must be from ACEN or CCNE accredited program 6. EMR: EPIC 7. Shifts/Call: 3-12 hours 1830-0700; must be flexible; weekend shifts as needed 8. RTO: RTO required with submission, must be built into contract; one pre-approved time off 9. Returning Staff: Former employees eligible after 6 months away; current employees ineligible as travelers 10. Travel/Local: Locals accepted at same rate; first time travelers accepted 11. Background: Ohio fingerprinting required immediately after contract signing; strict compliance deadline Tuesday prior to start 12. Modules: 80 orientation hours 13. Travel Experience: First time travelers accepted 14. Scrubs: Scrub experience required 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Required - medical exemptions only 16. Special Equipment: Must have experience with heart/lung transplant, aortic aneurysm repair, CABG, laparoscopic cardiac surgery, mitral valve replacement, ventricular assist device (LVAD/RVAD), endovascular procedures, TEVAR Critical: 2 professional references required with 1 from manager/director. Candidates without required special equipment experience will be redirected.
