- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: Minimum 1 year required 2. Cases: Must be strong in Ortho; preferred Pediatrics; facility does everything except transplants and trauma; required experience with Bronchoscopes, Fiber Optics, and Flex Sigmoidoscopes; extensive surgical case list including orthopedic, robotic, spine, vascular, and general surgery procedures 3. Certifications: BLS required; LA fire card within the last 30 days required (not reimbursed) 4. License: CA license must be in hand at time of submission 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic experience preferred; Mediteach is the charting system used 7. Shifts/Call: Call required 4-6 times per 6-week schedule; weekend call is included within the 4-6 call obligations; travelers expected to float between all facilities within the state — refusal may result in termination or forfeiture of guaranteed hours 8. RTO: Maximum 7 days (anything beyond may delay offer and requires client approval); must commit to working 3 of 5 holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day) 9. Returning Staff: Can return after 3 months; must disclose any previous work at a Providence facility (location and dates) at time of submission 10. Travel/Local: Under 50 miles considered local; locals accepted at lower bill rate; bill rate is firm 11. Background: Must disclose license/background hits upfront at time of submission; no open license hits will be approved 12. Modules: Average 16 hours, non-billable; over 20 hours requires PM approval; completed pre-start and annually; self-reported and recorded in Workramp transcripts 13.
