- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 4 years of Operating Room experience required prior to travel; unit accepts first-time travelers 2. Cases: Neurology, Transplant, General Surgery, GYN, and Ortho experience are HARD STOPs; service lines also include Bariatrics, Urology, ENT, Oral, Plastics, and Ophthalmology 3. Certifications: BLS required 4. License: GA or Compact RN license required at time of submission 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic experience required 7. Shifts/Call: Every other weekend; call is variable and will be discussed during interview; float within facility/scope of practice and to Outpatient as needed 8. RTO: Max 7 days per contract; ALL RTO must be finalized at time of submission; no RTO or schedule requests post-offer or onsite; if 1-2 holidays fall during assignment, no holiday RTO can be requested; if 3 holidays fall during assignment, 1 holiday RTO may be considered 9. Returning Staff: Perm/Per Diem/FCSS must be away from all Piedmont facilities for 1 full year before applying as a traveler; if canceled or facility DNR, traveler must complete one assignment outside Piedmont before reapplying and ensure profile reflects all time worked at Piedmont Health 10.
