- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years required for submission; acute care experience required (hard stop); ICU experience highly preferred; may screen first time travelers if 3+ years experience 2. Cases: Well rounded caregiver experience required (CVA, Multiple Trauma, Cardiac, Ortho, Open Heart, Gen. Med, Onc, Neuro, Spine, Total Joint) 3. Certifications: BLS, NBCOT, CA License required; LA fire card within last 30 days required 4. License: CA license must be in hand 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic experience preferred 7. Shifts/Call: Will mainly work M-F but expected to work 3 weekend days per 6 week schedule; may be required to float to Providence Mission Laguna 8. RTO: RTO must be included at time of submission; 7 days maximum offer period; must commit to working 3 of 5 holidays (Thanksgiving, Xmas Eve, Xmas Day, NYE, NYD) 9. Returning Staff: Can return after 3 months; must include response about previous Providence facility employment with submission 10. Travel/Local: 50-mile radius rule applies; locals accepted at lower rate 11. Background: Must disclose license/background hits upfront at time of submission; no open license hits will be approved 12. Modules: Average 16 hours non-billable; completed pre-start and annually; over 20 hours requires PM approval; self-reported completion recorded in Workramp transcripts 13. Travel Experience: Travel experience required 14. Scrubs: Royal Blue for general staff; OR scrubs provided 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Unknown 16. Special Equipment: SPH Equipment including lift machines, saraflex, sarastedy machines Critical: All travelers expected to float between all facilities within state. Two references covering 1 year within last 3 years required. Facility can call off once per two week pay period.
