$2,333 to $2,583 weekly

Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel – Occupational Therapist (OT) – Home Health

Shift: Days / 8a-4:30p, 10×4, 40hrs per week, M-F
Length: 13 weeks

Summer Holidays: Traveler will be required to work 1-2 of 3 (Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day)

Requirements:

• IA License
• 2 years of previous OT experience required
• BLS
• Home health experience preferred but is not necessary
• Epic experience preferred

Other Details:

• EMR: EPIC
• First time travelers accepted
• Not an employee of UnityPoint in the last 1 year required
• Must have own vehicle – Mileage will be reimbursed
• Avg. patients per day: 4-6
• Patient population: Most patients need short term therapy after hospitalization or nursing home stay (varied reasons for original facility admission)
• Coverage area: 50 miles. This OT traveler will average 200-250 miles/week
• Weekly team meetings occur virtually; monthly in-person meetings
• Orientation: First day general organization orientation and required online courses. 2 days of Epic (EMR) training, couple days doing ride along/shadow visits. We also have a therapy manager who would support all things the first couple weeks reviewing documentation and answering any questions virtually. Typically fully productive by week 3.
