Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel - Occupational Therapist (OT) - Home Health

Shift: Days / 8a-4:30p, 10x4, 40hrs per week, M-F
Length: 13 weeks

Summer Holidays: Traveler will be required to work 1-2 of 3 (Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day)

Requirements:

IA License
2 years of previous OT experience required
BLS
Home health experience preferred but is not necessary
Epic experience preferred

Other Details:

EMR: EPIC
First time travelers accepted
Not an employee of UnityPoint in the last 1 year required
Must have own vehicle - Mileage will be reimbursed
Avg. patients per day: 4-6
Patient population: Most patients need short term therapy after hospitalization or nursing home stay (varied reasons for original facility admission)
Coverage area: 50 miles. This OT traveler will average 200-250 miles/week
Weekly team meetings occur virtually; monthly in-person meetings
Orientation: First day general organization orientation and required online courses. 2 days of Epic (EMR) training, couple days doing ride along/shadow visits. We also have a therapy manager who would support all things the first couple weeks reviewing documentation and answering any questions virtually. Typically fully productive by week 3.
