- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: Minimum 1 year required; first-time travelers not accepted 2. Cases: Outpatient hospital hand clinic for hand injury patients; treats all types of hand injuries and problems; patient population includes adolescents, adults, and geriatrics; average daily census of 9 3. Certifications: BLS required; must be Modality Certified 4. License: GA or Compact license required at time of submission 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic, Pyxis 7. Shifts/Call: No call required; every other weekend unless specified; if 1-2 major holidays fall during assignment, traveler is expected to work all of them; if 3 major holidays fall during assignment, traveler is expected to work 2 of them 8. RTO: Maximum 7 days per contract; all RTO must be finalized at time of submission; no RTO or schedule requests can be made post-offer or onsite; if 1-2 holidays fall during assignment, no holiday RTO can be requested; if 3 holidays fall during assignment, 1 holiday RTO may be considered 9. Returning Staff: Perm/Per Diem/FCSS must be away from all Piedmont facilities for 1 full year before applying as a traveler; if canceled or facility DNR, traveler must complete one assignment outside Piedmont before reapplying and ensure profile reflects all time worked at Piedmont Health 10. Travel/Local: Local candidates accepted at same rate 11. Background: Not specified 12.
