- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 1 year minimum required 2. Cases: VAC changes, dressing changes, wound care treatment for patients with wounds 3. Certifications: BCLS, NIH, and Wound Ostomy Care certification required; ACLS required for Barnes-Jewish Hospital location only 4. License: MO or compact license accepted (can submit without MO license); IL license in hand required at time of submittal 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic experience preferred 7. Shifts/Call: 5x8 days 0700-1530; on-call not required; 1 weekend shift every 6 weeks required 8. RTO: Maximum 7 days within 13-week contract; no RTO first week; no new RTO after submission 9. Returning Staff: 18 months with 3-month break in service required; permanent BJC/Saint Lukes employees must wait 1 year 10. Travel/Local: 75-mile radius rule; no local candidates or travelers accepted (except PCTs, CNAs, MAs) 11. Background: Not specified 12. Modules: Billable up to 16 hours at $20/hr; completed pre-start through WorkRamp; must start within 1 week of contract signing and complete 2 Fridays before start date 13. Travel Experience: Unit accepts first-time travelers 14. Scrubs: Navy blue uniform required; no artificial nails 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Required with medical/religious exemptions only 16. Special Equipment: Rover for wound pictures; peritoneal dialysis equipment Critical: Labs must be completed within 48-72 hours of signing. Patient ratio 6:1 during days.
