- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years minimum required for submission 2. Cases: GI conditions, blood loss and anemia associated with GI tract, infections, renal patients, post-GI surgical patients, cardiac monitoring (10 Tele beds) 3. Certifications: BCLS required; ACLS noted in job qualifications; must pass EKG Testing prior to start 4. License: Not specified 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic preferred; Pyxis and SBAR also used on unit 7. Shifts/Call: 12-hour nights, 18:45-07:15; 36-48 hours available; floating required as needed to other med/surg units; every other weekend required 8. RTO: RTO after booking is not allowed and cannot be worked out onsite; call-offs or additional RTO could result in cancellation and DNR 9. Returning Staff: Not specified 10. Travel/Local: Locals accepted; rate difference applies; unit will NOT accept first-time travelers; must have 2 successfully completed assignments 11. Background: Not specified 12.
