Requirements

- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years of experience required within the last 5 years; first-time travelers accepted 2. Cases: Orthopedic trauma, traumatic brain injuries, spine injuries, subdural hematoma, neurological trauma/nerve damage; preferred: CVA, pre/post hemodialysis, pre/post neuro surgery, spinal cord injuries 3. Certifications: BLS required; ACLS preferred; must be AHA or American Red Cross (not explicitly stated but BLS listed); must pass EKG testing prior to start 4. License: Active RN license required 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic documentation experience required; Pyxis and SBAR also used on unit 7. Shifts/Call: 12-hour days; 36 or 48 hours accepted; every other weekend required; float to similar units and alternate care locations with inpatient holding; contract staff may be required to report during catastrophic events, mass casualty, or disaster 8. RTO: Maximum 7 days RTO for Aya Auto Offer; RTO after booking is not allowed and cannot be worked out onsite; call-offs or additional RTO could result in cancellation and DNR 9.
