Requirements

- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years minimum required 2. Cases: Telemetry monitoring including chest pain, arrhythmias, pacemaker, or defibrillator patients 3. Certifications: ACLS, BCLS required 4. License: NC or Compact license (pending OK for submittal) 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: EPIC preferred 7. Shifts/Call: Nights 18:45-07:15, float to other telemetry units required, 4 weekend days in 6-week timetrack 8. RTO: Up to 7 days auto approved (no holidays), must work 2 of 3 major holidays, no RTO during first week, all RTO must be pre-approved, cannot request additional RTO after signing 9. Returning Staff: Former Novant/New Hanover employees must wait 12 months before applying, disclosure required with hospital name/dates employed at submission 10. Travel/Local: Local candidates (50 miles) accepted at lower rate, unit accepts first time travelers 11. Background: Not specified 12. Modules: Required, non-billable, expect 2-10 hours 13. Travel Experience: Unit will accept first time travelers 14. Scrubs: Navy scrubs required, not provided by hospital 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Required - Medical/Religious Exemptions Only 16. Special Equipment: Must be comfortable with cardiac drips including Cardizem, Dopamine, dobutamine, milrinone, amiodarone, Lasix and heparin Critical: Must pass EKG testing prior to start. Patient ratios 1:5-6. Must go into lab within 48 hours after signing. 36 hours orientation. Current travel Per Diem clinicians not eligible for travel contracts.
