- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2+ years PCU/DOU/IMC/Stepdown required 2. Cases: Direct External Ventricular Device management experience required (hardstop); Ischemic Stroke, Hemorrhagic Stroke, Status Epilepticus, Post-Craniotomy/Neurosurgery 3. Certifications: AHA ACLS and BLS required (traditional AHA, does not accept RQI); 6 hours of stroke CEs; copies required at submission 4. License: Valid State License preferred at time of submission; pending license accepted if application submitted to licensing board for 90-day exemption 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic experience required to submit 7. Shifts/Call: 36-hour nights, 1:3 ratios; no on-call required; floating within Acute Care division 8. RTO: Maximum 5 days for 13 weeks, 7 days for 18 weeks; must be outlined upfront (no more than 2 weeks); additional time added to contract end 9. Returning Staff: Must be gone 6+ months 10. Travel/Local: Locals accepted at same rates 11. Background: Will not accept any background or license hits; uses Advanced Reporting system for comprehensive lifetime review 12. Modules: Non-billable; RN average 4.5 hours, completed pre-start; recorded via transcripts 13. Travel Experience: First-timers accepted 14. Scrubs: Any color, no prints provided 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Unknown 16. Special Equipment: Hamilton C1 Ventilators, External Ventricular Devices, Lumbar Drains, Vasoactive medication management Critical: Must start background and drug screen within 24 hours of signing. Compliance deadline one week prior to start. Labs within 48 hours of signing. Seven years work history verification required. Relias exams require 85% or higher score.
