- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: Minimum 2 years required for submission 2. Cases: MS/Tele, PCU level patients, any adult Medical/Surgical diagnoses; float to ED and MedSurg areas as needed; ED Holding/Inpatient Holding position within the Float Pool 3. Certifications: BLS and ACLS required; must pass EKG Testing prior to start; NIHSS listed (required per job requirements section); CPI noted; all must be AHA or equivalent — copies required at submission 4. License: Not specified 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic preferred (charting system experience preferred) 7. Shifts/Call: Night shift, 36 or 48 hours; every other weekend required; no call required; manager schedules; Storm Team/Hurricane Team assignment possible; contract runs up to February 27, 2027 (hard stop) 8. RTO: 7 days MAX; RTO after booking is not allowed and cannot be worked out onsite; call offs or additional RTO on unit could result in cancel and DNR; only one pre-approved RTO 9. Unit is fast-paced with very sick patients in an ED Holding environment.
