- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years required (HARDSTOP); 1st time travelers accepted 2. Cases: Diabetes, dementia, COVID, pneumonia, COPD, sepsis, encephalopathy, GI bleed, anemia, hip fracture, CHF, UTI, various surgical recovery cases, renal failure, hypertension, cellulitis, failure to thrive 3. Certifications: BLS and NIHSS required; ACLS preferred; must pass EKG Testing prior to start 4. License: Not specified 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic preferred; Pyxis for medication system 7. Shifts/Call: Days; 36 or 48 hours; 13-20 week contracts accepted; self-scheduling; every other weekend required; no call requirement; float required (may float to main campus NHRMC, 32 minutes away); contract staff may be assigned to Storm Team and/or Hurricane Team and required to report during catastrophic events or disasters 8. RTO: 7 days MAX per contract (HARDSTOP); must be able to work holidays; no block schedules unless a weekend block; one pre-approved time off noted 9. Returning Staff: Not specified 10.
