- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years required in the last 5 years; 1st time travelers accepted 2. Cases: Traumatic brain injuries, spine injuries, subdural hematoma, severe bone/joint/soft tissue injuries, ortho trauma, neuro trauma, CVA, gen surg overflow 3. Certifications: BLS required; ACLS preferred; must pass EKG Testing prior to start 4. License: Active RN license required 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic experience required; Pyxis and SBAR also used 7. Shifts/Call: 12-hour nights; 36 or 48 hours accepted; float to similar units and alternate care locations with inpatient holding; every other weekend required; contract staff may be required to report during catastrophic events, mass casualty, or disaster; Storm Team and/or Hurricane Team assignment expected 8. RTO: 7 days max for Aya Auto Offer; RTO after booking is not allowed and cannot be worked out onsite; call offs or additional RTO could result in cancel and DNR 9. Returning Staff: Not specified 10.
