- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years of MS experience required in a hospital setting; direct MS experience required within the past year; no travel experience required if over 4 years; PCU experience will not be accepted 2. Cases: Altered mental status, CHF, stroke, ortho, surgical patients, DKA, infections; all units may care for patients with mental health diagnoses 3. Certifications: BLS and ACLS required; NIHSS preferred; must be current; copies required at submission 4. License: Pending license not accepted 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic required; must be current within the last 6 months; hard stop requirement 7. Shifts/Call: Nights, 3x12s; ratios 1:5 with chance of 1:6-7; 6 weekend shifts per 6 weeks; no on-call required; float within scope to meet facility needs; no block schedule; 36 guaranteed hours per week 8. RTO: No holiday RTO; max 5 total days in 13-week assignment; no additional RTO after time of submittal or while on contract; no RTO the day before, day of, or day after a holiday 9.
