Cases: Overflow IMCU; Arrhythmia management; Cardioversion; Cardiac CHF; Chest pain; Renal; Pulmonary (COPD, pulmonary edema, PE, DVT); Cardiac Arrhythmias (stable A-Fib, SVT, Bradycardia); Surgical (cholecystectomy, appy's, chest tubes, biliary drains); Occasional vascular, Post Cardiac Cath, TR Bands, DKA; Occasional Ortho or CVA overflow 3. Certifications: BLS and ACLS required; NIHSS required; must be AHA or American Red Cross; copies required at submission 4. License: Not specified 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic preferred; Pyxis and SBAR also used 7. Shifts/Call: Call is rare; 2-hour response time required; travelers typically do not manage Precedex; floating within facility and scope of practice as needed; every other weekend typical though perm staff scheduled first 8. Basic arrhythmia knowledge, hemodynamic monitoring, and post-PCI care are a must. Holiday policy: traveler is expected to work one major holiday if one falls in the assignment period; both if two fall; two of three if three fall. Major holidays include Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Christmas Day, and New Year's Eve/New Year's Day. Candidate will undergo clinical review; if passed, forwarded to manager for final decision. Clinical screens sent on a case-by-case basis.
