- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years required within the last 5 years; first-time travelers accepted 2. Cases: Traumatic brain injuries, spine injuries, subdural hematoma, ortho trauma, neurological trauma, severe injury to bones/joints/soft tissue, CVA, pre/post neuro surgery, spinal cord injuries 3. Certifications: BLS required; ACLS preferred; must be AHA or equivalent; must pass EKG Testing prior to start 4. License: Active RN license required 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic documentation experience required; Pyxis and SBAR also used 7. Shifts/Call: 12-hour nights; 36 or 48 hours accepted; float to similar units and alternate care locations with inpatient holding; every other weekend required; contract staff may be required to report during catastrophic events, mass casualty, or disaster; consolidation to centralized office mid-contract may occur 8. RTO: 7 days MAX for Aya Auto Offer; RTO after booking is not allowed and cannot be worked out onsite; any call-offs or additional RTO could result in cancellation and DNR 9. Returning Staff: Not specified 10. Travel/Local: Locals accepted; rate difference applies 11. Background: Not specified 12. Modules: 12-hour unit orientation; 16-hour organizational education 13.
