- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years required; must be in a large, urban hospital; first-time travelers not accepted unless they have 2 years at a Level I Academic Medical Center; Trauma Level I experience required 2. Cases: Drips required on all floors; required drips include Nitro, Heparin, and Insulin (non-DKA); may encounter Amiodarone, Cardizem, Argatroban, Bivalirudin, Lasix; call out if candidate has no drip experience 3. Certifications: BLS required; ACLS strongly preferred; must be AHA or verified equivalent 4. License: Pending license accepted, but if not in hand at time of submission, traveler will be booked six weeks out 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic charting experience required 7. Shifts/Call: 36 or 48-hour options; travelers are first to float every shift; float within scope to meet facility needs, including potential float to Bellevue campus; weekend coverage is 4 out of 8 possible shifts in a 4-week period (Days: Saturday and Sunday; Nights: Friday and Saturday night); Holiday requirement is 2 of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving 11/24-11/26, Christmas 12/24-12/26, New Year's 12/31-1/2) 8. RTO: Up to two weeks permitted; must be submitted with application; additional requests after confirmation at manager discretion; holiday requests must be submitted with application 9. Returning Staff: Not specified 10. Travel/Local: Locals NOT accepted; candidate must be more than 100 miles from facility; travelers may be assigned to Bellevue Medical Center, 16 minutes from main campus 11.
