- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years required; must have 2 years of experience in a large, urban hospital; first timers not accepted (will consider if traveler has 2 years at a Level I Academic Medical Center); Trauma Level I experience required 2. Cases: MS/Tele; units include Observation, Stepdown Critical Care, Heart and Vascular, Cardiac Care/Post Cardiac Surgery, Solid Organ Transplant, Neuroscience, Ortho, Trauma, Oncology, and others; drips required on all floors; required drips include Nitro, Heparin, Insulin (non-DKA); may encounter Amiodarone, Cardizem, Argatroban, Bivalirudin, Lasix; call out if no drip experience 3. Certifications: BLS required; ACLS strongly preferred; must be AHA or American Red Cross (not explicitly stated but BLS/ACLS listed) 4. License: Pending license accepted, but if not in hand at time of submission, traveler will be booked six weeks out 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic charting experience required 7.
