- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years of MS/TELE experience required; 2 years of recent experience within the last 7 years required 2. Cases: Adult MS tele only; travelers not expected to care for pediatric patients 3. Certifications: ACLS & BLS required; travelers not expected to hold PALS certification; must pass Relias EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam with minimum 80% overall score and 100% on lethal rhythms 4. License: Must have either a compact license or an MD license for MD locations; must have a DC license in hand for DC locations 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Not specified 7. Shifts/Call: 3x12 AM shifts; weekends required - 6 shifts in 6 weeks, every other weekend 8. RTO: No RTO permitted during first two weeks; no more than 7 days per 13-week contract; must be included at time of submittal 9. Returning Staff: Nurses with previous MedStar employment must have been separated for minimum one year before returning as traveler 10. Travel/Local: 60-mile local radius; locals accepted at lower rate 11. Background: Not specified 12.
