- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years current experience required for submission 2. Cases: Post-op surgical, wound care (foot wounds), general Med/Surg, cellulitis, SBO, GIB; adults and geriatrics 3. Certifications: BLS (AHA) and NIHSS required; ACLS preferred; must be in hand at time of submittal; certifications may not expire within 45 days of start date; must be AHA 4. License: TN/compact licensure required and must be in hand at time of submittal; license may not expire within 45 days of start date; permanent address on license must match W4 and be greater than 75 miles from facility 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Cerner experience preferred, not required unless specifically noted on the unit description 7. Shifts/Call: Every other weekend or two per month required; patient ratios days 5-7, nights 6-8, weekends 6-8; float required within hospital and within Covenant Health system (within skill set or as Task RN); minimum 2 hours notice for float; no blocked scheduling requests, no exceptions; must pass EKG testing before start date 8. RTO: No RTO within 14 days of start date; cannot exceed 7 days; no major holiday RTO requests including holiday weekends and surrounding days; specific holidays listed include Valentine's Day, Local Spring Break (3/9-3/15/26), Easter (4/5/26), Mother's Day (5/10/26), Memorial Day (5/22-5/25/26), Father's Day (6/21/26), Independence Day (7/3-7/5/26), Labor Day (9/4-9/7/26), Local Fall Break (10/5-10/11/26), Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's Day; travelers may address holiday RTO directly with manager after arriving onsite 9. Returning Staff: Cannot return to the same campus where they were permanent staff within 24 months; may return to another campus within Covenant Health after 12 months; related or married travel team members cannot work on the same unit 10. Travel/Local: Candidate's permanent address must be greater than 75 miles from contracted facility; locals noted at $10 less than traveler rate; proof of residency documents required within 48 hours of acceptance (mortgage/lease agreement and utility bill); client audits compliance documents for local rate discrepancies 11.
