- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years required for submission 2. Cases: MS/Tele patients; may float to Cardiac/Observation Unit, Stroke Unit, Ortho/Trauma and Total Joint Unit, Orthopedic Spine Unit, Palliative/Peritoneal Dialysis/Thyroid Ablation Unit; ICU/PCU experience preferred but strong MS/Tele experience considered 3. Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS required; must be in hand at submission 4. License: Active, unrestricted Arizona RN License or valid participating compact license required; can submit with pending license 5. Education: BSN noted with asterisk in certifications field 6. EMR: Cerner preferred 7. Shifts/Call: 3x12 nights, 7pm-7am; every other weekend required; no on-call; guaranteed 36 hours/week; facility may call off up to 6 times during a 13-week assignment 8. RTO: Unit manager approval required; blocked scheduling dependent on unit needs but manager will consider 9. Returning Staff: Not specified 10. Travel/Local: Locals accepted; floating required between MS/Tele units and all MS/Tele units as needed 11. Background: Not specified 12. Modules: 12 orientation hours noted 13. Travel Experience: Not specified as required; first-timers accepted 14. Scrubs: Navy Blue 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Not required 16. Special Equipment: Bladder Scanner, IV Ultrasound Placement Equipment, Interpreter Cart/Interpreter Phones and onsite Navajo Interpreters, EKG Machine, Mechanical Lift system (Liko lifts) installed in each patient room, Remote Telemetry Monitoring Critical: Traveler must be open to floating where most needed across all MS/Tele units, including Cardiac Monitoring Room rotation required for all RNs. Candidates missing required skills must be screened prior to submission. Ratios are 1:4 days and 1:5 nights. Facility is a Teaching/Level IV Trauma, Short Term Acute Care with 87 staffed beds.
