- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: Minimum 2 years RN experience required; acute care experience must be current/within the last 12 months and in the specialty applying for 2. Cases: Oncology experience preferred but not required; patients include breast, lung, prostate, pancreatic, colon, esophageal cancers, sickle cell crises, and antineoplastic chemotherapy; continuous cardiac monitoring related to chemotherapy administration; soft tissue malignancy; symptom management; infection prevention and patient falls focus 3. Certifications: BCLS required 4. License: Not specified 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic experience required 7. Shifts/Call: 12-hour day/night rotating; shift assignments reviewed every 4-week scheduling period; changes not guaranteed and based on staffing priorities; float required within units of equivalent or lower acuity 8. Required skills include interpretation of dysrhythmias, accessing ports, arterial line management, blood product administration, central line care/management, PICC line management, IV start, chest tube insertion/removal assistance, high flow nasal cannula (HFNC), and interpretation of ABGs.
