Requirements

- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years required for submission 2. Cases: Ortho/Bariatric/Spinal/Trauma post-op; spinal, orthopedic, bariatric surgery, trauma level III; ortho experience strongly preferred 3. Certifications: BLS and ACLS required; BLS must be via American Heart Association 4. License: VA or compact license in hand at time of submittal; no exceptions; must include current NURSYS report 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic proficiency required; FIRM, no exceptions 7. Shifts/Call: 3x12 or 4x12 (OT after 48); EOW, float, and holidays within contract; indicate candidate shift preference; EKG/Tele test required for this unit — 16 questions, 80% or higher to pass, 1 attempt only, no remediation, no study materials provided; PAPR cannot be accommodated, any fit test issues will eliminate candidate 8. RTO: Required with submission; reviewed and approved on a per case basis; all RTO must be included on Qualivis Cover Sheet 9. Returning Staff: Not specified 10. Travel/Local: 50-mile radius rule; RN candidates with permanent address less than 50 miles from facility will not be considered; current address must be included with profile/submittal 11. Background: Facility will not accept any prior license or background hits; any history will eliminate candidate from consideration; no exceptions 12. Modules: 3 hours required; completed pre-start; billable 13. Travel Experience: Preferred 14. Scrubs: Royal Blue; not provided by hospital 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Required; medical/religious exemptions and declinations allowed 16. Special Equipment: Bucks Traction Critical: Must include Qualivis Cover Sheet and current NURSYS report with submission. Candidate must be pre-closed on patient ratios (budgeted 1:5, may flex to 1:7 max). EKG test is pass/fail with one attempt; failure will result in contract cancellation.
