- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years required; travel experience preferred 2. Cases: Oncology/MedSurg/Tele & Vascular Access (5 East unit) 3. Certifications: BLS required via American Heart Association; EKG/Tele test required for this unit — 16 questions, must score 80% or higher, 1 attempt only, no remediation, no study materials provided; skills required include IV Start and Telemetry Interpretation 4. License: VA or Compact license in hand at time of submittal — no exceptions; must include current NURSYS report at submission 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic proficiency required — no exceptions 7. Shifts/Call: Nights, weekdays, EOW, float, holidays within contract; 3x12 or 4x12 (OT after 48 hours); indicate candidate preference; blocked schedule requests cannot be accommodated on this unit 8. RTO: Must be submitted with profile; reviewed and approved on a per-case basis; blocked schedule requests not accommodated; must be included on Qualivis Cover Sheet 9. Returning Staff: Not specified 10. Travel/Local: Permanent address must be 50+ miles from facility for RN candidates — no exceptions; current address must be included with profile/submittal 11. Background: Facility will not accept any prior license or background hits — no exceptions; any history will eliminate candidate from consideration 12.
