- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years required for submission 2. Cases: Must have worked with neurology/stroke patients in the past in the acute care setting 3. Certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS required; BLS and ACLS must be via American Heart Association 4. License: Compact or VA license in hand at time of submittal — no exceptions; must include current NURSYS report 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic proficiency required — no exceptions 7. Shifts/Call: 3x12 or 4x12 (OT after 48); EOW, float, and holidays required within contract; patient ratio is 1:7 — candidate must be pre-closed on this before submission; EKG/Tele test required (16 questions, 80% or higher to pass, 1 attempt only, no remediation, no study materials provided) 8. RTO: Must be included on Qualivis Cover Sheet at time of submission; reviewed and approved on a per case basis; all RTO required with submission 9. Returning Staff: Not specified 10. Travel/Local: 50-mile radius rule; RN candidates with a permanent address less than 50 miles from facility will not be considered; current address must be included with profile/submittal 11. Background: Facility will not accept any prior license or background hits — no exceptions; any history will eliminate candidate from consideration 12.
