Requirements

- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years required for submission 2. Cases: Wide variety of medical and surgical patients including CHF, COPD, SBO, Diabetic, cellulitis and wounds, ESRD, GI, GU, oncology (no IV chemo), altered mental status, high fall risk, frequent IV antibiotics, blood products 3. Certifications: BLS and ACLS required; must be American Heart Association 4. License: VA or compact license in hand at time of submittal; no exceptions. Must include current NURSYS report 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic proficiency required; no exceptions 7. Shifts/Call: 3x12 or 4x12 (OT after 48 on 4x12); candidate preference must be indicated; EOW, float, and holidays within contract; 1:7 patient ratios days, nights, and weekends; EKG test required for this unit — 16 questions, must score 80% or higher, one attempt only, no remediation, no study materials provided 8. RTO: Must be included on Qualivis Cover Sheet at time of submission; reviewed and approved on a per case basis; only one holiday will be approved 9. Returning Staff: Not specified 10. Travel/Local: 50-mile radius rule; RN candidates with permanent address less than 50 miles from facility will not be considered; current address must be included with profile/submittal 11. Background: Facility will not accept any prior license or background hits; any history will eliminate candidate from consideration; no exceptions 12. Modules: 3 hours required; billable; completed pre-start 13. Travel Experience: Required; 2 years travel experience required 14. Scrubs: Not mentioned 15.
