- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 1 year required for submission 2. Cases: Wide range of medical diagnoses including diabetes, sickle cell crisis, COPD exacerbations, ESRD with pulmonary hypertension, wounds, drains, and tubes; patients received from Emergency Department, Medical ICU, clinics, outside hospitals, and nursing facilities 3. Certifications: BLS required; ACLS preferred but not required; must be noted with asterisk skills including Accessing/Managing Ports, BiPAP/CPAP management, High Flow Nasal Cannula, Interpretation of ABGs, Interpretation and Management of dysrhythmias, Phlebotomy, Starting and maintaining IVs, Telemetry, and others as listed 4. License: VA license pending accepted at time of submission 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic experience required 7. Shifts/Call: Nights; can offer 36 or 48 hours; longer assignment available through 01/02/2027; every other weekend required; must work 2 out of 3 winter holidays; block scheduling cannot be guaranteed; float policy applies per UVA policy 8.
