- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 1 year required for submission 2. Cases: Respiratory, Endocrine, Cardiac, Immune/Infectious Disease, and Renal; patient diagnoses include respiratory illnesses, renal illnesses, diabetes, sepsis, cellulitis, infections, heart failure, sickle cell, and cystic fibrosis 3. Certifications: BLS required; ACLS preferred but not required 4. License: VA license accepted as pending at time of submission 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic experience required 7. Shifts/Call: Days; 36 or 48 hours available; every other weekend required; must work 2 out of 3 winter holidays; block scheduling cannot be accommodated; patient ratios are 4:1 days, 5:1 nights and weekends; orientation is 24 hours 8.
