Cases: Stroke (neuro) patient population; inpatient with multiple co-morbidities; CVA, telemetry (remote monitoring required, on-unit monitoring preferred), feeding tube care and management, wound care/wound vac, isolation precautions, accessing ports, blood product administration, central line care/management, peripheral line care/management, PICC line management, starting IVs, nasal cannula, dysrhythmia interpretation 3. Certifications: BLS and NIHSS required; must be AHA or American Red Cross (standard requirement implied by AHA reference); Pass/Fail EKG exam required by Cone Health for all RNs regardless of specialty 4.
