- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: Minimum 2 years required; First Time Travelers accepted 2. Cases: General surgical patients, pre-op and post-op care; medical overflow excluding true Cardiac; Bipap and drips; remote telemetry monitoring required 3. Certifications: BLS required; ACLS preferred; must be AHA or American Red Cross (implied by standard); all RNs required to pass a Pass/Fail EKG exam during compliance (2 attempts allowed; no study material provided) 4. License: License in hand required at time of submission; current driver's license must be included to confirm address for local radius rule 5. Education: Third-party education verification required; facility will not accept education from schools on the Diploma Fraud Florida Education Audit list 6. EMR: Epic experience required 7. Shifts/Call: 3x12s, Nights, 7p-7:30a; every other weekend; every other holiday; patient ratios 1:5-6; all travelers subject to float to any Cone Health campus as needed 8. RTO: RTO due at time of submission; RTO submitted after submission will not be accepted; up to two pre-approved time off requests; no RTO that would prevent completion of pre-start compliance by deadline 9. Returning Staff: Not specified 10. Travel/Local: 50-mile radius; no locals accepted; current driver's license required at submission to confirm address 11. Background: Facility will not accept any open cases on the background check 12. Modules: Non-billable; average 2-4 hours; completed during orientation; not included in NBO; hours vary by unit 13.
