- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 1 year required 2. Cases: Adult patients requiring cardiac monitoring, pre/post cardiac catheterization, pacemaker patients, 24-hour observation patients to rule out MI, chest pain, shortness of breath, COPD, DM, HTN, renal failure, post-ICU transfer patients, post-CVA patients 3. Certifications: ACLS, BCLS, NIH required; ACLS required by compliance deadline for all RNs except Behavioral Health, Case Manager & Outpatient 4. License: MO or compact accepted (submit without license OK for MO); IL license in hand required at submittal; compact must match permanent residence 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: EPIC 7. Shifts/Call: On-call required; every other weekend required; guaranteed 36 hours per week for 3-12s, 48 hours per week for 4-12s 8. RTO: Maximum 7 days (7+ days requires manager approval, including any holiday RTO); no new RTO after submission; no RTO allowed first week of assignment 9. Returning Staff: 18 months with 3-month break in service required; permanent BJC/Saint Lukes employees must wait 1 year before returning as traveler 10. Travel/Local: No locals accepted within 75-mile radius; no local travelers allowed except PCTs, CNAs, and MAs 11. Background: Not specified 12.
