Requirements

- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years required; 1+ years required for submission within specialty; drip experience required (Insulin/Glucomander, Neo up to 100, Precedex, A-lines, TR bands); stroke experience and post-procedural experience required 2. Cases: Stroke, post-procedural care; IMCU-level drip management 3. Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS required; certifications will be allowed to be obtained before starting 4. License: Valid NY State License required; must have at least applied if still pending; submit with recent Nursys 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic required 7. Shifts/Call: Patient ratio is 4:1 depending on acuity; may be 5:1 if acuity is lower; candidates may float within skillset 8. RTO: 7 days or less preferred; only 1 holiday approved 9. Returning Staff: Permanent staff cannot return as a traveler within one year; after 3rd assignment, extensions are at local rate 10. Travel/Local: 75-mile local radius; locals accepted at lower rate 11. Background: SSN/DOB required; client will not clear without SSN (Canadian travelers); client will not clear with pending SSN or work authorization; international travelers cannot cross sooner than 10 days prior to start date 12. Modules: Modules are billable; Med Surg RN - 3 hours; Critical Care/ED - 6 hours; orientation minimum 3 hours with 6-hour max 13. Travel Experience: Travel experience preferred 14.
