- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 1 year required (2 years preferred); first-time travelers accepted 2. Cases: Telemetry, cardiac/stroke, CHF, chest pain, MI, syncope, HTN, overdoses; cardiac drip experience required (Heparin, Cardizem, Amiodarone, Lasix); renal patients (HD by outside company); all modes of oxygenation except vents 3. Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS required; must be AHA or American Red Cross (confirm at submission); must pass Tele Rhythm Identification Quiz 4. License: Pending license accepted; must be active prior to start date 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Cerner 7. Shifts/Call: Nights (1900-0730); every other weekend; every other holiday; float to like or lesser units; guaranteed 36 hours; block scheduling; ratios 1:4 days / 1:5 nights 8. RTO: One pre-approved time off per contract 9. Returning Staff: Not specified 10. Travel/Local: Locals not accepted; must live outside 50 miles 11. Background: Not specified 12.
