- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years required 2. Cases: DOU/Step-Down; patient population includes lung transplant, lung surgeries, lobectomy, mass removal, wedge resection, bronchial sleeve, esophagectomy, hiatal hernia repair 3. Certifications: ACLS, BCLS required; ACLS must be obtained by compliance deadline for Barnes-Jewish Hospital location 4. License: MO or compact accepted (MO can submit without license); IL license required in hand at submittal; compact must match permanent residence 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: EPIC 7. Shifts/Call: Can sign for 36 or 48 hours per week; weekend coverage every other; no on-call required; will float within service line 8. RTO: Maximum 7 days per 13-week contract; 7+ days requires manager approval; no RTO first week; no new RTO after submission 9. Returning Staff: 18 months with 3-month break in service required; permanent BJC/Saint Lukes employees must wait 1 year before returning as traveler 10. Travel/Local: No locals accepted within 75-mile radius; home address must be at least 75 miles from facility 11. Background: Not specified 12. Must complete labs within 48-72 hours of signing. Skills include cardiac telemetry, chest tubes, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, cardiac drip titration.
