- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required 2. Cases: Blended unit of med/surg and stepdown; patients include general surgery, trauma, respiratory failure, GI bleed, sepsis, CIWA, TBI, etc. No post open heart surgery or cath lab intervention patients 3. Certifications: RN State License and/or Compact State Licensure, BLS, ACLS, CPI, NIHSS required; must be in hand prior to start; pending license accepted at submission 4. License: RN State License and/or Compact State Licensure required; pending license OK but must be active and in hand prior to start date 5. Education: BSN preferred 6. EMR: Epic required; Epic experience preferred 7. Shifts/Call: Patient ratio 5:1 days, nights, and weekends; 4 weekend shifts every 6 weeks; 24 orientation hours; scheduling type listed as other 8. RTO: Must be included at time of submission 9. Returning Staff: Previous employees must be separated from the facility for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler 10. Travel/Local: 50-mile radius rule applies; traveler's permanent address must be at least 50 miles from facility; local candidates accepted at a reduced rate 11. Background: Not specified 12.
