Requirements

- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 1 year required 2. Cases: All medical diagnosis with focus on pulmonary patients; adult acute care patients requiring specialized care; patients with continuous pulse-oximetry and telemetry monitoring 3. Certifications: BLS required; ACLS, NIHSS also listed 4. License: NY license required in hand - no exceptions 5. Education: Foreign education must be verified - alert account manager at submission 6. EMR: EPIC experience is a hard requirement 7. Shifts/Call: 3x12 nights; every other weekend; patient ratios 1:3 days, 1:4 nights, 1:3 weekends; float required to ICU or MS 8. RTO: Cannot submit anyone with more than 10 days RTO; pre-approved time off limited to one 9. Returning Staff: 1 year return staff policy 10. Travel/Local: Candidates within 75 miles not accepted; first time travelers accepted 11. Background: Reviewed on case-by-case basis 12. Modules: Billable up to 5 hours; total may reach 10 hours; excess over 5 hours non-billable; completed pre-start; recorded via facility report 13. Travel Experience: Yes, required 14. Scrubs: Any combo of navy and white 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Unknown 16. Special Equipment: Not specified Critical: Must handle 1:5 to 1:7 patient ratio for MedSurg; 24 orientation hours; 18 beds unit with adults and geriatrics; interdisciplinary support available.
