- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years required 2. Cases: PCU/MS float experience required; must be comfortable working ALL PCU and MS units 3. Certifications: ACLS, BLS required; CPI, NIHSS, Trauma preferred 4. License: Active Virginia State or Compact RN license required; pending license accepted only if candidate holds single-state license from non-compact state 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: EPIC experience required 7. Shifts/Call: 3x12s, 6:45a-7:15p; may float 2-3 times per shift (up to every 4 hours); facility can call off 1 shift per 2-weeks 8. RTO: All requests must be included with submission; two pre-approved time off requests allowed 9. Returning Staff: Previous employees must be gone minimum one year before returning; after working 365 days on assignment, cannot return despite separation period (effective July 1, 2025) 10. Travel/Local: Local candidates (within 100 miles) not accepted; 50-99.9 miles may be considered for one 13-week assignment with no extension; under 50 miles may be considered at lower bill rate with no extension 11.
