- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 1 year minimum required; must have PCU/IMC experience within the last 3 years 2. Cases: PCU, MS Tele, MS patients; Surgical pre and post; ENT, General Surgery, Trauma Surgery, Ortho Surgery; Overflow medical diagnosis patients; Rare Pediatric patients (travelers not assigned unless experienced) 3. Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS required; PALS and TCAR preferred; must be AHA or American Red Cross (not explicitly stated in notes) 4. License: NY RN License required; must be in hand at time of submission 5. Education: Foreign education must be flagged to account manager at time of submittal for verification 6. EMR: Epic experience is a hard requirement; Pyxis also used 7. Shifts/Call: Days 1:3-5; Nights 1:3-6; Weekends 1:3-5; Block scheduling; Every other weekend; Float required to sister units (West 2, West 3, Observation unit); No on-call requirement listed 8.
