- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years required; must be in a large, urban hospital or Level I Academic Medical Center; LTAC/Rehab/Nursing home does not count as acute inpatient facility experience; candidate should have less than 1 year gap between permanent and travel positions 2. Cases: Adult progressive surgical, oncology, palliative care, and progressive acute care patients receiving chemotherapy; drips required on all floors (cardiac and vasoactive drips, IV insulin protocols); blood product administration, central line care/management, epidural analgesia, telemetry, PCA, non-invasive airway management 3. Certifications: BLS and ACLS required; NIHSS required; must be AHA or equivalent; copies required at submission 4. License: Pending license accepted, but if not in hand at time of submission, traveler will be booked six weeks out 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic required; must have Epic experience within the last 2 years; must be rated 3 or 4 on checklist — HARDSTOP 7. Shifts/Call: 36 or 48-hour weekly option; 13 or 26-week contract option; travelers are first to float and must be prepared to float frequently, including to Bellevue campus; float notification 1 hour prior to shift start by call or text; 4 weekend shifts out of 8 possible in a 4-week period (Days: Saturday and Sunday; Nights: Friday and Saturday night); 24 orientation hours 8.
