- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years required for submission; first-time travelers accepted if greater than 3 years of experience; minimum 1 year acute experience per system policy 2. Cases: Covid, Stroke, NSTEMI, Chest Pain, AKI, Pneumonia, COPD Exacerbation, CHF Exacerbation, Cellulitis, AMS 3. Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS required; must be AHA; copies required at submission 4. License: MI License required and must be in hand at time of submission; pending license not accepted 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic required; charting system experience required 7. Shifts/Call: 12-hour shifts; every other weekend required (Saturday and Sunday, both day and night shifts); no on-call required; will float to other areas including ICU, ER, and Behavioral Health; will float to Monroe Hickman as needed; no block scheduling 8. RTO: Greater than 7 days requires management approval; no holidays (eves and days after holidays); 2 pre-approved time-off requests per contract 9. Returning Staff: Must be gone 1 year (permanent staff) before returning 10. Travel/Local: 50-mile radius; locals not accepted 11.
