- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years required; Cardiac experience required; Teaching hospital experience required 2. Cases: Cardiac cases required - Post Cardiac Angiogram, Post MI, Pre/Post Cardiac Cath, Pre/Post Cardiac Surgery 3. Certifications: BLS, ACLS required 4. License: Kansas and Missouri or compact license required in hand at time of submission 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: EPIC charting system required; 3 hours pre-start EMR modules; choice of EPIC test out option or EPIC module 7. Shifts/Call: Holiday shifts and Charge RN assignments as needed; 8 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule period; patient ratios 1:5 (may flex to 1:6); no on-call required 8. RTO: Maximum 7 days (7+ requires approval along with any holiday RTO) 9. Returning Staff: 18 months with 3-month break in service required; permanent employees must wait 1 year before returning as traveler 10.
