- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years acute care required; teaching hospital experience required (hard stop) 2. Cases: Surgical oncology patients with cancer diagnosis recovering post-operatively; procedures related to abdomen or pelvic area (Gynecologic Oncology, Urology Oncology, Colorectal, Pancreatic, Liver, Stomach) 3. Certifications: AHA BLS required; oncology skills checklist required 4. License: CO or Compact RN license required 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic experience required 7. Shifts/Call: Rotating shifts, various days, weekend coverage required (12-14 weekend shifts per contract), no on-call required 8. RTO: 10 days max approved per 13-week contract; RTO not allowed during specified blackout periods (June 28-July 9, 2026, September 2-12, 2026, October 25-November 4, 2026, November 22-December 2, 2026, December 20-January 3, 2027) 9. Returning Staff: Return travelers who completed full year on assignment cannot be rebooked for at least one year; candidates who applied to UCHealth internal positions within last two years will not be considered 10. Travel/Local: Local bill rate $85 if candidate lives less than 75 miles from facility 11. Background: Not specified 12.
